a. Nickel allergy free
Almost every kind of metal has some possibility to cause an allergic reaction, nickel is deemed as the most problematic metal which is most likely to cause an allergic reaction but used very often in the everyday life. K.T.P. has made efforts and developed a plating method which uses no nickel at all. S E L E X brand can, without using nickel at all, produce a tone of color and brilliance very close to the traditional nickel plating and prevent no nickel allergic reaction.

b. Needle detector sensor free
Needle detectors have been using without trouble for the inspection of clothes like socks/underwear with no metal accessories attached. Recently they have become to be used more widely for the inspection of clothes with snaps, buttons, zippers and/or other metal accessories attached. Therefore, there has arisen a necessity to improve such metal accessories to be needle detector sensor free. S E L E X brand plating solves this subject as free from needle detector.

c. Heavy metal toxicity free
Each country has its own standards/requirements relating to toxic metals such as UK: BS5665 (EN71) part 3. Toxicity off metals is discussed basically in relation to dye stuff, paints and printing ink rather than metal coating surfaces.
